H ομάδα της ATN Constructions ανέλαβε το σχεδιασμό του boutique ξενοδοχείου Loom Athens στον Κεραμεικό, που λειτουργεί σε συνεργασία με την Modus & Amplio. Πρόκειται για έντεκα δωμάτια και σουίτες, με 3 loft suites με φεγγίτη. Ο σχεδιασμός βασίστηκε στις αρχές του βιομηχανικού design, με κυρίαρχο στοιχείο το custom made κεραμικό τούβλο, που δημιουργήθηκε αποκλειστικά για το συγκεκριμένο έργο, ως μία αναφορά στην ιστορία της περιοχής. 

Στην καρδιά της Αθήνας, στην ιστορική περιοχή του Κεραμεικού, στα σύνορα με την μποέμ συνοικία του Μεταξουργείου, ένα νέο Boutique ξενοδοχείο, μοναδικής αισθητικής και ταυτότητας, προσκαλεί τους καλεσμένους του να γνωρίσουν την Αθήνα των Τεχνών και της Χειροτεχνίας, από την Αρχαιότητα έως σήμερα! H Modus & Amplio με χαρά ανακοινώνει το άνοιγμα του νέου συνεργαζόμενου ξενοδοχείου της, LOOM Athens στο κέντρο της Αθήνας.

Έντεκα δωμάτια και σουίτες, εκ των οποίων 3 Loft Suites με φεγγίτη, που μπορούν να φιλοξενήσουν από 2 έως 5 άτομα, έχουν δημιουργηθεί με πάθος, έμπνευση και μεράκι από την ομάδα της ATN Constructions. Βασιζόμενοι στις αρχές του βιομηχανικού ντιζάιν και με κυρίαρχο στοιχείο το ‘Custom Made’ Κεραμικό Τούβλο, φτιαγμένο ειδικά για το LOOM Athens, να κοσμεί την πρόσοψη του ξενοδοχείου, το LOOM Athens τιμά το παρελθόν του, μέσα από μία σαφή σύνδεση και αναφορά στο ιστορικό κεραμικό παρελθόν της περιοχής.

Χτισμένο σε μια περιοχή γνωστή στην αρχαιότητα ως συνοικία των αγγειοπλαστών και γλυπτών που προμηθεύονταν πηλό από τις αποθέσεις αργίλου του Ηριδανού ποταμού, το LOOM Athens εμπνέεται από την εμβληματική ιστορία της περιοχής. Αργότερα, κατά τον 18ο και τον 19ο αιώνα, η περιοχή κατοικήθηκε από Τεχνίτες διαφόρων τεχνών και έγινε κυρίως γνωστή για το Μεταξουργείο που λειτούργησε στην περιοχή για χρόνια. Το  LOOM Athens τιμά το παρελθόν του, μέσα από τα χειροποίητα ‘custom made’ κεραμικά σκεύη φτιαγμένα ειδικά για το LOOM Athens, κεραμικά πιάτα και ποτήρια με απόλυτη χρηστική λειτουργία, που χρησιμοποιούνται στο Breakfast Lounge του ξενοδοχείου. Καθώς και μέσα από τα μοναδικά ΄κεντητά’ λευκά είδη και σεντόνια στα δωμάτια, που μεταφέρουν νοερά τον καλεσμένο του LOOM Athens στην φρεσκάδα και οικειότητα του Ελληνικού σπιτιού.

Οι αισθητικές λεπτομέρειες που κάνουν την διαφορά συνεχίζονται μέσα από τα κεντρικά χρώματα που έχουν επιλεγεί για το LOOM Athens, με κυρίαρχα το μπλε λουλακί και τερακότα του Μινωικού πολιτισμού να συνδυάζονται πρωτοποριακά με φρέσκες ροζ, γαλάζιες και μωβ αποχρώσεις. ATN Constructions team took over the design of Loom Athens Boutique Hotel in Keramikos, Athens, in cooperation with Modus & Amplio hospitality. The hotel consists of eleven rooms and suites, including three loft suites with skylight. The proposed design was based on the principles of industrial design, with main element the custon made ceramic brick, used for the facades, which was exclusively created for this ptoject, as a reference to the big ceramic history of the area.

Located in the historic area of Kerameikos, on the border line with the bohemian district of ‘Metaxourgeio’, a new Boutique Hotel, with a unique design and aesthetic identity, invites guests to discover Athens of Arts and Crafts, from Antiquity to now! Μοdus & Amplio announces the opening of LOOM Athens in the heart of the city. Eleven rooms and suites, including 3 Loft Suites with skylight, which can accommodate from 2 to 5 persons, have been created with passion by ATN Constructions, a group of architects and designers. Based on the principles of industrial design and with the dominant element of the ‘Custom Made’ Ceramic Brick, created especially for LOOM Athens, adorning the hotel’s façade, LOOM Athens honors its past through a clear connection and reference to the ceramic history of the region.

Built in an area known in antiquity as the Potters and Sculptors District who sourced clay from the deposits of ‘Eridanos’ River, LOOM Athens is inspired by the emblematic history of the area. Later, in the 18th Century the area was inhabited by craftsmen of various arts and became known for the first Silk Loom Factory of Athens that operated in the area for years.  LOOM Athens honours this legendary history, through the handmade ‘custom made’ series of ceramic utensils made especially for LOOM Athens, the ceramic plates and mugs, used in the hotel’s Breakfast Lounge. As well as through the unique ’embroidered’ linens and sheets in the rooms, which mentally transfer guests to the freshness and intimacy of the Athenian home.

Aesthetic details that differentiate LOOM Athens continue in the dominant lilac blue and terracotta brown used throughout, combined in an innovative way with a palette of pinks, pastel blue and purple. Two ground floor rooms featuring a small private garden, as well as the unique LOOM Athens healthy breakfast made daily on the spot with hot and cold preparations by the hotel’s Chef, are some of the details that make LOOM Athens stand out. It’s location next to the Athen’s main Art Hall of Technopolis-Gazi, the Archaeological Site of Kerameikos, and its proximity, just 5 minutes from the Metro station “Kerameikos” and 15 minutes from the Acropolis, make LOOM Athens the ideal hotel to begin exploring this new ‘Hip’ area of Athens, the city’s Arts and History. This is where the story of Loom Athens begins, weaving the thread that connects the past to the present of this vibrant city, and invites you to explore it.
