Urban Soul Project created Roomore, a new type of hospitality space in the center of Thessaloniki, new in its conceptual design, as well as in its operation.

The suites are intended for long or short term stay, with sufficient facilities that fit a dweller that works in the city for few days a month, as well for the traveler that seeks the upscale aesthetics and comfort of a city apartment.

The listed Aristotelous Square building structured the urban character of the design path and its contemporary style with a classic urban spirit.

The overall layout and details in floor finishes were inspired by the square’s neoclassical lines and curves. The project’s challenge was the implementation of its nine suites with their wc, small kitchens, storage, etc in a typical office floor layout, especially within a complicated building static frame, finally incorporated in its ceiling and light plans.

Το γραφείο Urban Soul Project δημιούργησε το Roomore, ένα καινοτόμο τύπο χώρων φιλοξενίας στο κέντρο της Θεσσαλονίκης, τόσο σε επίπεδο σχεδιασμού όσο και σε επίπεδο λειτουργίας.

Πρόκειται για χώρους μίκρο ή μάκρο φιλοξενίας επισκεπτών, ανεξάρτητων και αυτοεξυπηρετούμενων, καθώς καλύπτονται ανάγκες του επαγγελματία που εργάζεται στην πόλη κάποιες μέρες το μήνα, αλλά και του ταξιδιώτη που ψάχνει την αισθητική και την άνεση ενός αστικού διαμερίσματος.

Το εμβληματικό κτίριο της πλατείας Αριστοτέλους, καθόρισε τον αναβαθμισμένο χαρακτήρα του σχεδιασμού καθώς και την ένταξή του σε ένα σύγχρονο ύφος με αφορμές παλιάς αστικότητας.

Οι χαράξεις της πλατείας αποτέλεσαν αφορμή για τις χαράξεις των διαδρόμων, τις καμπύλες και τις δαπεδοστρώσεις. Η μεγαλύτερη πρόκληση ήταν η προσαρμογή του χώρου γραφείων σε εννιά σουίτες, με wc, με μικρές κουζίνες εξυπηρέτησης, αποθηκευτικούς χώρους, καθιστικά και επιφάνειες εργασίας, εντός ενός περιβάλλοντος με πολύπλοκο στατικό φορέα, οποίος ενσωματώθηκε στον σχεδιασμό των οροφών, και του φωτισμού.
