Οι Amalgama Architects σχεδίασαν τον νέο χώρο του Delicious Burger House που βρίσκεται στη Θεσσαλονίκη, με μια διάθεση επανερμηνείας της αστικής ατμόσφαιρας της δεκαετίας του ’90.

Γεωμετρικά σχέδια και πλακάκια, φώτα νέον χρωματικές αντιθέσεις είναι ορισμένα από τα στοιχεία του ρετρό εσωτερικού, με αναφορές στη δεκαετία των 90s.
Ο σχεδιασμός στοχεύει στην επανερμηνεία της αστικής ατμόσφαιρας της δεκαετίας του ’90 με τα ασπρόμαυρα πλακάκια, τα έντονα χρώματα, τα φώτα νέον και τον συνδυασμό πολλών μοτίβων.
Μια κατασκευή από μέταλλο και ημιδιαφανές γυαλί διαχωρίζει την κουζίνα από τον υπόλοιπο χώρο. Μέταλλο και πλέγμα χρησιμοποιείται και σε άλλα στοιχεία του χώρου όπως τα φύλλα της ντουλάπας και την καμάρα που βρίσκεται στο κέντρο του χώρου.
Τα πράσινα πλακάκια στους τοίχους με το γεωμετρικό μοτίβο έρχονται σε αντίθεση με τους μαύρους τοίχους. Η χρήση γεωμετρικών μοτίβων επεκτείνεται στα ασπρόμαυρα ριγέ πλακάκια του δαπέδου, τα οποία τοποθετούνται διαγώνια. Τα φώτα στην οροφή ακολουθούν το ίδιο μοτίβο.
Ένας άνετος δερμάτινος πάγκος συνοδεύεται από ξύλινα τραπέζια και ασπρόμαυρες δερμάτινες καρέκλες. Από την άλλη πλευρά, τα δερμάτινα ξύλινα καναπεδάκια δημιουργούν μια πιο ιδιωτική ατμόσφαιρα. Καθρέφτες και απλίκες τοίχου ολοκληρώνουν τον σχεδιασμό.
Ως προέκταση του χώρου, το μπάνιο καλύπτεται με τετράγωνα μπλε πλακάκια, ενώ ένας καθρέφτης στην οροφή δημιουργεί μια ψευδαίσθηση συνέχισης του χώρου κατακόρυφα.

Amalgama Architects designed the new space of Delicious Burger Store in Thessaloniki, with a concept of reinterpreting the 90’s urban atmosphere.

Geometric patterns and tiles, neon lights and graphics are the main elements of the retro interior of Delicious Burger House, designed by architecture studio Amalgama Architects. The space -which is located in Thessaloniki- features black walls and wooden booths modelled on those found the 1990s.
The design aims in reinterpreting snippets of the 90s urban atmosphere with its colored tiling, neon lights and dense mix of patterns and motifs.
The kitchens are visible behind the metal façade with semi-transparent ripped glass. Metal is also used for the custom-made cupboard and the arch with lights, located in the center of the space.
The green tiles on the walls with the geometrical motif are contrasted with the black painted walls. Curved mirrors and wall lights create a playful interplay. The studio’s use of color and pattern extends to the geometric tiled floors and punchy black-and-white striped diagonal pattern applied over its wood flooring. The ceiling lights follow the same pattern.
Wooden tables sit alongside a comfortable tan leather banquette and a graphic design with neon light covers the wall. On the other side the leather wood-line booths create a cozier and intimate atmosphere. As an extension of the main space, the bathroom is covered with midnight blue square tiles, while a mirror on the ceiling creates a playful interplay.
