Placed in the heart of Athens, hotel in Miltiadou is designed by TAF. Taking into consideration its unique view towards the Acropolis and Mount Lycabettus, the floor-to-ceiling windows exaggerate the connection of the users with the city and its special contrast of modern urbanism and historic landscapes.

The project is located in the historic center of Athens, in Monastiraki. The existing industrial building was transformed and renovated to an apartment hotel in 2020 in perspective to the need for short-time lease accommodations in the area.
The architectural proposal and design is focused on a dynamic layout of thirteen apartments with various sizes, aiming at meeting the needs of its customers. It includes parts of the second, third, fourth and sixth floor of the building, as well as a part of the ground floor.
The selected materials were based on the expression of a minimalist character with emphasis on plasticity and geometry. The combination of wood, marble and concrete with a white color palette play an important role in the architecture of TAF | Taliakis Architectural Firm.
The special character of the building and the project is highlighted on the design of the sixth floor, focused on its unique view towards the Acropolis and Mount Lycabettus. The floor-to-ceiling windows exaggerate the connection of the users with the city and its special contrast of modern urbanism and historic landscapes.
The architectural lighting study adds to the atmospheric redesign of the space, as the placement of hidden and indirect lighting intensifies the plastic character of the interior, further enhancing the geometric contrast of the space.
The project aims at creating a place that meets the needs of the customers and acts as a relaxation space after a walk in the historic centre of Athens.
