Visualizations Are To Architecture What Trailers Are To A Movie

How do visuals convey the architectural vision of a project? An image is not a mere representation of a building but a reflection of a living environment of a present that has not arrived yet. The visualizations incorporates the user’s personal wishes and needs, the image becomes the embodiment of an architectural promise.

Konstantinos Koudounis is a postgraduate student in the Architectural Department in National Technological University of Athens and holds An Architectural Visualization Master from the State of The Art Academy in Venice. He works as an architectural visualizer at Vyonyx. They are an award-winning design and visual studio based in London and collaborates with numerous architectural offices such as Foster and Partners, Fuksas, Gensler, BIG, Heatherwick, HENN, Aedas, Arup, PLP, BDP etc. Since his early studies he examined various ways of representing architectural projects through photography, animation, and film.
