Nestled in the heart of the enchanting city of Verona, Tape House designed by Studio ABCPLUS reinterprets classic contemporary style with a design that seamlessly merges elegance and functionality. Essential geometries and warm materials define the apartment’s aesthetic, where predominant white tones create a luminous and airy atmosphere, while dark wood accents add depth and character. The project embodies a balance between tradition and innovation, drawing inspiration from timeless design principles to create an environment that feels both modern and enduring. The goal was to craft a serene and welcoming home, conveying a sense of comfort and tranquility while enhancing natural light and fostering a harmonious flow throughout the spaces.

Fluid Geometries and Visual Continuity

A thin black line threads through the entire project, acting as a guiding motif that connects spaces with a sense of continuity and cohesion. This distinctive design element weaves seamlessly through the interiors, guiding the eye and emphasizing the fluidity of the layout.

The result is a home where openness and lightness take center stage. Every room adheres to this unifying concept, harmonizing the interiors with a seamless and coherent design approach. The fluid geometries ensure a smooth transition between spaces, creating a unified aesthetic that ties the entire home together.

Wooden Niches: Rhythm and Warmth in Interiors

Dark wooden niches, enriched with vertical slats, are a key design feature that strikes the perfect balance between functionality and decoration. These architectural elements introduce rhythm and warmth to the interiors, breaking up the uniformity while adding depth and texture.

Their refined craftsmanship reflects a meticulous attention to detail, blending aesthetic appeal with practical utility. The wooden accents not only provide visual interest but also evoke a sense of natural connection, complementing the home’s overall atmosphere of warmth and elegance.

Fluid Perspectives and Illuminated Continuity

Transparent glass panels create a dynamic interplay of light and space, connecting the hallway to the study and fostering visual and luminous continuity between rooms. LED lighting, strategically placed along pathways, enhances the depth and perspective of the interiors.

These features transform the home into a sanctuary of light and serenity, where each space invites exploration and offers a feeling of calm. This project is a perfect synthesis of tradition and modernity, designed for those who appreciate a minimalist yet rich aesthetic, with subtle details that embody the essence of contemporary living.
