Seba Morales Explores Surface & Material Contrasts though Some Sets Series

Seba Morales is a graphic designer from Argentina, currently working at at A+E Latin America, focused in 3D illustration and set design.

As he Seba explains: “Since a while I started some explorations in the 3D world, where I like to combine all kind of elements, from basic shapes to daily objects, using different colors palettes: from monochromatic to colorful ones. The aim is always to get an equilibrated composition with a realistic aesthetic. I choose 3D because let me generate situations that in real life are difficult or impossible to reproduce.”

Seba Morales’ Some Sets

In his words: “Some Sets is a project where I chose elements that I can found around me every day, and placed them in a way that the pieces are interacting between each other, generating a contrast between hard and sharp surfaces, as a broken glass and clay, or a stone and a patterned tile. I setted them up in three different ways, where the tension is changing from one take to another. I chose a close up, in order to capture the emphasis that the lighting do in the different textures”.
