This ongoing project is an experiment in how to use the elements of air and water in a design process. Containing these elements within a balloon, the natural elasticity of latex combined with the laws of gravity makes it possible to create a wide range of individual transitory forms. Through a casting process the shapes are made into solid porcelain objects.

“I am a norwegian designer and maker based in Stockholm, where I also graduated from Beckmans College of Design in 2012. Before attending Beckmans I studied art photography and fine furniture making. I work professionally as a cabinetmaker and craft is also central in my work as a designer. Today I work independently at The Artists Collective Workshop in Stockholm, making commissioned furniture and interior as well as developing limited edition pieces and products for larger-scale production.”
