Open House is an international architectural initiative, founded in 1992. It takes place annually in more than 26 cities around the world, including Thessaloniki and Athens since 2012. Its objective is to promote public awareness and appreciation of the city’s building design and architecture by organizing free tours in public and private spaces with architectural interest. It is an event that addresses the contemporary concerns regarding urban space, with architecture at its core.
Thessaloniki is hosting Open House for the third year, highlighting the architectural wealth of the city. Historical, contemporary, private and public buildings will open their doors for free tours during the event.
