K&K Architects was established in 2000 by Katerina Kotzia and Korina Filoxenidou. The studio deals with a variety of projects that range from exhibition design and commercial spaces to private residential projects. Projects also include participations in competitions and research programmes on urban strategies and the integration of architecture and landscape.
The studio focuses on the creation of spaces that combine a strong and clear identity with an experiential nature that encourages interaction and involvement.
In 2006 k&k architects designed and co-curated (with E. Constantopoulos and L. Papadopoulos) the Greek Participation in the 10th Biennale of Architecture in Venice entitled The Dispersed Urbanity of the Aegean Archipelago. In 2006 they curated and designed the first Architecture Biennale of Thessaloniki, entitled: Architecture and the City In Southeast Europe. Projects have been published in architectural magazines and catalogues. Their work in exhibition design and architectural competitions has received numerous distinctions.

Katerina Kotzia and Korina Filoxenidou were trained as architects at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1997) and they have both attended the postgraduate course MA Design Studies at Central Saint Martin`s College of Art and Design (2000) as recipients of the Onassis Institute Scholarships. In 2000 they founded the architectural office k&k architects in Thessaloniki and in 2009 also in Athens.

Η Κατερίνα Κοτζιά και η Κορίνα Φιλοξενίδου απέκτησαν το δίπλωμα Αρχιτέκτονα Μηχανικού από το Τμήμα Αρχιτεκτόνων του Αριστοτέλειου Πανεπιστήμιου Θεσσαλονίκης το 1997. Το 2000 ολοκλήρωσαν το μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα MA Design Studies στο Central St’ Martin’s στο Λονδίνο, με υποτροφίες από το Ίδρυμα Ωνάση. Επιστρέφοντας στην Θεσσαλονίκη ίδρυσαν το γραφείο k&k architects. Από το 2009 το γραφείο απέκτησε και δεύτερη έδρα στην Αθήνα.
