There is all Bela’s world in the collection Jewellery for the Curious. A jewellery line entirely handmade, that mixes elements from architecture, design and fashion. A collection that keeps evolvig, starting from the serial composition of ceramic units, different for colors and shapes.

The elements, lacquered with several shades of color or bathed in gold, are linked together with a waxed thread. A structural solution that bends the strictness of the geometrical mail to new rules, making it elastic and flexible.

Solid, colored, light and flexible, the jewellery by the Athenian designer are designed as small architectures ready to wear, which use the versatility of the mail lattice to  follow through the shape of the wearer.

Each piece is the result of strictly artisanal actions. A process far from the standardization that exalts the charming imperfections of the material, exhalting the uniqueness of every single product.

Jewellery for the curious, more than a collection, represents a creative journey,  that Bela Louloudaki started as  completion of her career as designer, moving between a vaste field of actions that include languages, shapes and colors contaminations. A labirynth of references that we chose to underline not only through the aimed selection of the pieces, but also with the setting, designed by P+R+V studio: a serial installation, made of  surfaces suspended at different heights, traced on the floor with colored lines that, starting from the entrance of the gallery, mark paths and connections between the exhibited jewels.

about Bela Louloudaki

Born in Greece, graduates in architecture at La Sapienza University in Rome. In 2005 she went back to Athens to oper her own firm. Working both as architect and interior designer, she designed houses, showrooms and public spaces, while working on her passion: jewellery design.

A long time love, expressed, through time, in collections that play with the versatility of the ceramic and shapes it in a very personal way.

Each piece depicts a syntesis of her multifaced personality: refined, yet essential; eclettic yet never extravacant; evocative yet contemporary.

The Benaki Museum and the auditorium Megaro Mousikis in Athens, host Bela’s collection in their jewellery’s boutiques. Every year her creations are previewed at Milan’s Fuorisalone.
