The seating system Ladle aims at casting a new contemporary light on the design – and mostly the feeling and comfort – of the classic chairs from the 60s, such as the Egg chair by Arne Jacobsen and the Pollock chair by Charles Pollock.

The seat structure, which is the constant feature in all versions, can be combined with three different backrests and as many bases: one with four wooden legs, another with four tube metal legs and a four-spoke base for the swivel and tilt version. Ladle proves that, while leaving the aesthetic and functional background unchanged, a wide variety of proposals provided with personal touch can be created, and that each element can be placed individually in very different environments. Ladle’s textile details highlight the manual skills and craftsmanship that characterize this seating system. Ladle, as the name itself suggests, reminds of the big spoon that is the seat – it embraces the shape of the body while providing a soft and cozy comfort.
