ARCHILAB 2013 - NATURALISER L'ARCHITECTURE EXPOSITION AT FRAC CENTRE

Στις 14 Σεπτεμβρίου, η ένατη έκδοση του Archilab εγκαινιάστηκε στο Κέντρο Frac στην Ορλεάνη φιλοξενώντας καποια απο τα πιο δημοφιλή αρχιτεκτονικά σχήματα.Το Archilab είναι μια αποθήκη της αρχιτεκτονικής σκέψης, στην οποία  κάθε χρόνο παουσιάζονται οι πιο προηγμένες αρχιτεκτονικές τάσεις σχεδιασμού και έρευνας.  

 

Η επιμέλεια της έκθεσης έγινε από τους ιδρυτές της, Marie-Ange Brayer (διευθυντής του Κέντρου FRAC) και Frederic Migayrou, (αναπληρωτής διευθυντής του Centre Pompidou).Το φετινό θέμα επικεντρώνεται στην αλληλεπίδραση μεταξύ της αρχιτεκτονικής και της ψηφιακής επιστήμης, και συγκεκριμένα στην προσομοίωση του φυσικού κόσμου. Σήμερα, με τη χρήση προηγμένων ψηφιακών εργαλείων, οι αρχιτέκτονες σχεδιάζουν έργα που εξελίσσονται παρόμοια με εκείνα της φύσης. Με την ενσωμάτωση άλλων επιστημών, και τη σε βάθος γνώση των μαθηματικών, ειναι εφικτές πλέον οι τεχνητές προσομοιώσεις της διαδικασίας μόρφωσης και της ανάπτυξης, όπως αυτή εμφανίζεται στη φύση.

 

Η αρχιτεκτονική και σχεδιασμός συμπεριφέρονται ως μια αέναη προσαρμογή, η οποία μπορεί να εξελίσσεται και να αλληλεπιδρά με τις υλικές συνθήκες του περιβάλλοντός της.Ξεπερνώντας κατά πολύ τα όρια της επιστήμης τους, οι αρχιτέκτονες αναπτύσσουν τώρα μια πρακτική με τον συγκερασμό σχεδιασμού, της επιστήμης των υπολογιστών, της μηχανικής και της βιολογίας. Οι κανόνες παραγωγής της αρχιτεκτονικής επαναπροσδιορίζονται ριζικά από αυτή τη σύγκλιση, σε συνδυασμό με τις εξελισσόμενες τεχνολογίες και τα ψηφιακά εργαλεία κατασκευής. 

 

Για πρώτη φορά, οι διαδικασίες σχεδιασμού ενσωματώνουν ρομποτική, νανοτεχνολογία, γενετική, βιοτεχνολογία, και παρουσιάζονται μέσα από την έρευνα 40 σύγχρονων σχεδιαστών καλλιτεχνών και αρχιτεκτόνων. Στην έκθεση μετέχουν.

On the 14th of September the ninth edition of Archilab  took place at the Frac Centre in Orleans and is still on display with some of the hottest architecture around.

ArchiLab is a repository of architectural thought, exhibiting every year the most advanced architectural design research trends. Curated by its founders, Marie-Ange Brayer(director of the FRAC Centre) and Frederic Migayrou, (deputy director of the Centre Pompidou), this year’s Naturaliser l`architecture theme focuses on the interaction between architecture and digital science, exploring issues of the simulation of the natural world.

Nowadays, via the use of advanced digital tools, architects design projects that evolve similarly to those of nature. By integrating other sciences, a thorough knowledge of mathematics is developed, that allows artificially simulations of the forming process and growth as this appears in nature. Architecture and design acts as a perpetual adaptation capable of evolving interactining with the material conditions of its environment. Far exceeding the boundaries of their discipline, architects are now developing a practice at the intersection of design, computer science, engineering and biology. The generating rules of architecture are radically redefined by this convergence, in combination to the evolving processes and digital fabrication tools.

For the first time, design processes integrate robotics, nanotechnology, genetics, biotechnology, and are presented through the research of contemporary architects designers and artists. This 9th edition of Archilab will be an opportunity to discover the projects 40 architects, designers and artists through interactive environments, spatial conditions and pavilions, designed especially for the exhibition.
