DAVID TORRENTS DESIGNS THE SPECIALIZED MAGAZINE IN URBAN BICYCLES 20km/h FOR BIKE TECH

David Torrents is a multidisciplinary graphic designer based in Barcelona. Specialised in posters, environmental design, books, websites and graphic identities, he works on commercial and non-commercial projects that are often linked to art. David Torrents graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and the Fine Arts College of the University of Barcelona, and also trained at Barcelona`s ELISAVA School of Design. Before founding his own studio he worked in Amsterdam, Budapest and in several design studios and agencies in Barcelona.

He has been a member of various international juries. His works have been published in a number of magazines, books and blogs worldwide and he has won around forty prizes. As well as teaching at ELISAVA and BAU he has delivered lectures and organised workshops at different festivals and universities. Many of the projects on this website have been done with collaborators who worked at the studio: Juan Esbert, Jordi Ubanell, Laura Estragués, Germán Chamorro, Maria Berga and Anaïs Esmerado. Currently Silvia Míguez collaborates at his studio.
