It all started in 1982, when a young architect, Michael Mavroleon and a civil engineer Andreas Alexiadis, utilized their professional experience in the United States to found the A&M Group. A&M’s main mission was the combined offering of design and construction services, with emphasis on new technologies and energy-efficient applications. Apostolos Papaoikonomou soon after joined the team. Three years later the Α&Μ Architects company was founded. In the following years, Α&Μ Architects undertakes numerous public and private projects in Greece.

In 2006, under Michael Mavroleon’s management, the company extended its activities to Europe and the Middle East. Today, it is housed in a newly refurbished 5-storey building in the centre of Athens and offers a comprehensive set of services, including the design of buildings, construction works, project & construction management and last but not least, corporate branding as part of a extended design package.
 
A&M GROUP WINS FAB AWARD FOR BEST F&B OVERALL AIRPORT F&B
The Budapest international Airport has won the “Best Overall Airport F&B” award in the category of up to ten million passengers, prevailing among 10 international airports. The international awards titled, “The Airports Food & Beverage”, is organized by the Moodie Report and was held in Amsterdam from 20 to 22 June.
