INTERIORS WE LOVE // Mykonos Beach Hotel: the timeless charm of a Cycladic hotel revisited | by  Vilma Agrafioti Architects

Mykonos Beach Hotel is one of the oldest hotels on the island of Mykonos. Vilma Agrafioti Architects maintain the timeless charm of this Cycladic hotel with clean lines, raw materials.and the deep blue hues of the Aegean Sea.

The recent renovation aimed to preserve the Cycladic character reflected in its exterior architecture, while introducing a fresh, contemporary interior design rooted in minimalism and tradition.

The design concept is built around a clean aesthetic, with an emphasis on raw materials—natural marble, warm wood, and the deep blue hues of the Aegean Sea.

The redesigned room layouts make optimal use of space, ensuring that every room enjoys the same breathtaking view of the sea.

Soft furnishings such as fabrics, tapestries, and cushions have been carefully selected to echo traditional Mykonian craftsmanship, reinforcing the connection to local heritage.

The renovation as a whole seeks to honor and elevate the timeless charm of this Cycladic hotel.
