Interiors We Love celebrates spaces where architecture, craft, and emotion converge. The series spotlights interiors defined by material intelligence and enduring beauty; spaces that move beyond trends, shaping everyday rituals and reflecting the evolving language of contemporary architecture worldwide.

In Rome’s Montesacro district, Casa Tirreno by PAROS architettura unfolds as a fluid domestic landscape where space and colour interact in quiet continuity. Softened boundaries between living spaces, a glass-brick wall, a sculptural masonry bench, resin flooring, and neon green wood panelling compose a minimal yet dynamic domestic landscape.

Located in the Montesacro neighbourhood of Rome, within a residential building dating back to the 1970s, the family apartment of a young couple has been reinterpreted through a project centred on spatial and aesthetic synthesis.

The intervention revisits the original layout, introducing a logic of fluidity and circularity that softens functional boundaries and allows the entrance, living area, and kitchen to unfold in a continuous spatial dialogue.

At the heart of the living space, a glass-brick wall operates as a permeable diaphragm, filtering and diffusing natural light while subtly articulating the interior.

Anchored to this translucent partition, an organically shaped masonry bench guides the transition from the entrance into the home, emerging as both a distinctive architectural gesture and a functional element.

A continuous resin flooring extends across the living areas, reinforcing the perception of unity and spatial continuity.

From the entrance to the kitchen, a system of stained pale green wood panelling integrates storage functions and discreetly conceals service areas, establishing a linear rhythm that enhances the domestic landscape while maintaining order and formal clarity.

The material palette and finishes are selected to balance functionality with essential simplicity, resulting in an environment that is both composed and tactile.

The project carefully preserves the memory of the family’s past while shaping a renewed interior, attuned to the rituals and spatial demands of contemporary living.
