Cataño all-day bar-restaurant: a multi-sensory day to night experience | by Dashing architects

The creation of this all-day bar-restaurant by Dashing architects, named Cataño, started from an empty piece of land with three palm trees and a magnificent view of the mountain on one side, and the sea on the other.

Through these elements emerged the idea to design a day to night experience characterized by natural materials and organic forms.

A celebration of generosity and spontaneity where nature rules, all senses are intrigued, and being together is all that matters.

The layout consists of a central bar, a lounge area, and a dining area with an open kitchen. Organic shapes with carefully selected plants are evenly distributed into the space, serving as natural dividers and, at the same time, as a gradual transition between loosely defined areas for eating, drinking and dancing.

The combination of these purposely designed and naturally occurring elements generates a multi-sensory architecture that sits in harmony with the environment.
